Licensed Pool Safety Inspector since 2011
The current QLD Pool Safety Laws came into effect December 2010 with a lead in period of 5 years. By the end of 2015, all pools were to be compliant with the new rules. This did not mean everyone needed a certificate (only owners selling or renting), but all pools had to meet the requirements of the legislation.
I had a number of years working as a site manager for a Builder and ran my own Handyman Maintenance business for approximately 7 years and was called in to repair and/or construct a number of pool fences in that time. This gave me a great background to step into the Pool Inspector arena in 2011 and I have been inspecting pools since then. My aim is to make the Certification process as painless as possible and keeping my fee's low to encourage more people to make sure their pools are compliant.
